As mixed media artists, our job is to build castles in the air, with gusto and spirit. No medium too complex, no source or image taboo. But how exactly do you glue that marble in place? What is the difference between shellac and lacquer? Matte, medium, and gloss? Would you use a different ink when rubberstamping an altered book, than when rubberstamping a piece of furniture?
